This policy explains how Prairie Creek Land & Water (“Prairie Creek”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. The business is operated byPrairie Creek Land and Water LLC, PO Box 153, Salina, KS 67401.
What we collect
When you request a quote
The Request a Quote form asks for:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The project location and property type
- A description of the project, and optionally its timing and the approximate size of any waterbody
- Any photos or videos you choose to upload (optional)
Uploaded photos and videos can show your property and, sometimes, people or vehicles. Please only upload images you are comfortable sharing with us. Uploads are stored privately: they have no public web address, and only Prairie Creek staff can open them, with a password.
When you browse the site
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed, whether someone taps our phone number and whether a quote request was sent. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you visit. We have turned off Google’s advertising features and do not use this information to identify you. Our hosting provider also records standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.

- To keep a record of enquiries and the work we carry out
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who can see it
Your submission is available to Prairie Creek’s owners, who review and respond to enquiries. We use service providers to run the website and receive form submissions:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website, receives form submissions and stores uploaded files privately on our behalf.
- Microsoft Corporation provides our business email (Outlook), where we receive notifications of new requests.
- HubSpot, Inc. provides the customer records system we use to track requests, quotes and follow-ups.
- Google LLC provides Google Analytics, which receives the browsing information described above. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and uploaded photos and videos that do not result in a customer relationship for 12 months, then delete them. Uploaded files are deleted automatically 12 months after they were sent.
If a request becomes a job, we keep the related records for as long as we need them for normal business, accounting, tax and legal recordkeeping.
Analytics choices
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics at all. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
